A bit about me

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the natural world and all of its species. When I received my first camera at the age of ten, I would often disappear into the coniferous acreage surrounding my family home, looking for squirrels scurrying up the trunk of decades-old Douglas-fir, or insects hidden amongst the evergreen foliage of western sword fern. After completing my BSc in Forest Biology, I traveled British Columbia photographing every species I could find as a part of the BC Parks iNaturalist Project. Spending many months in the protected areas of my home province reinforced the importance of conserving these special places and the species that call them home. In an effort to share the beauty of biodiversity, I am offering prints of my favourite original photos.
